White Trainers - 3 Ways
Wednesday, October 07, 2015
White trainers are the staple minimalist fashion girl
footwear and I think they go with everything. They can make a dress look more
edgy, or casual up dark denim and a shirt, or complete a casual Sunday outfit.
My white trainers are from Topshop, and they are faux leather and really comfy. I like to wear them
with boyfriend jeans and an oversized tee. This is my version of a cosy comfy
outfit and with a leather jacket and a statement lip this can be a good outfit
to wear out in the evening for a casual trip to the pub with your pals.
Another look I love is with a fitted jersey dress and a cardigan, though this isn't always practical for the autumn and winter because I am not about the wind chill on my legs. But a comfy jersey dress can be a god send when you are super tired but need to look slightly put together. I really think here that the fedora brings the outfit together, and makes it look intentional, rather than just thrown on.
Another look that I think I'll be wearing a lot this autumn is with dark denim and an over sized sweater. Cosy over sized jumpers mean that you can layer up with vests when it's still warm, and thermals when it gets a bit more chilly. Here my scarf is a light cotton and I'm wearing it with my fedora, but in the winter I'll wear a blanket scarf and knitted hat! .
Wearing white trainers in the Winter can seem difficult because (in my opinion) you shouldn't really wear socks with them, but so long as you balance your other outfit aspects you can easily wear them into the winter!
Here are my favourite trainers that you can buy right now:
